Frame

Numbered 53961 to 55700 (approx). Bolt on seat stays with drawback type chainstays for rear wheel adjustment.

Wheels

WM2x19 (f), WM2x19 (r). with identical hubs and black enamelled rims.Black spokes with NPB nipples. Bolt on rear sprocket.

Mudguards

Plain inverted U section, unvalanced. Rear with detachable main section.

Tanks

Petrol tank painted with gold lined panels. Single central CEE-ESS type filler with front fitted petrol balance pipe. Two bolt damper arm fixing. Enots non reserve petrol tap.

Engine

Numbered T751 to T1050 - 2 valve 245cc with cast iron open valve cylinder head, bolted to the barrel from below. 14mm side plug. Rear mounted Lucas Maglita ignition/dynamo.

Brakes

Both 6 3/4”, NOT coupled with aluminium shoes.

Electrics

Lucas 7” headlamp, CZ23 8-0-8 ammeter and MT210 rear lamp and Lucas B515 electric horn.

Transmission

4 speed gearbox with hand change on RHS of tank. Aluminium oil bath chaincase with ‘R’ on clutch dome.

Carburetter

Horizontal Amal type 75/151 with straight pull Amal control.

Exhaust system

Single 1 3/4” low level pipe into Rudge ‘can’ type silencer and 6” fishtail.

Standard Fittings

No battery cover, 1” handlebars, licence holder and rear carrier. Toolbox fitted to RHS side of machine. Steering damper and handwheel operated fork shock absorber. Open ended ‘D’ section forks. Pressed steel centre stand.

Extras

Trip chronometric 80mph speedometer, Smith’s 2" 8 day clock mounted on the steering damper arm and foot change.
