Frame

Numbered 46501 to 49600 (approx). Bolt on seat stays with cam type chainstays for rear wheel adjustment.

Wheels

WM1x21 (f), WM1x21 (r). (WM1x20 (f), WM1x20 (r) for export models).  interchangeable with chrome rims. Bolt on rear sprocket. Black spokes with NPB nipples.

Mudguards

Inverted U section, front valanced with bottom splash guard. Rear, unvalanced blade, with hinged tail section and vertical valence fitted on the front LHS.

Tanks

Petrol tank chrome plated with lined black panels. Single offset CEE-ESS type filler with front fitted petrol balance pipe. Single bolt damper arm fixing. Brass lever petrol tap.

Engine

Numbered 4901 to 7400 (approx) - 4 valve 349cc with cast iron open valve fully radial cylinder head.18mm central plug. Round ML magneto type CMAK and DM3G Miller dynamo. Oil feed to rear of cylinder. Plain cast alloy rocker box.

Brakes

6 3/4” front and rear, coupled with steel shoes.

Electrics (optional)

Miller 7” headlamp with No 832 8-0-8 'Lighthouse' ammeter and 29E rear lamp.

Transmission

4 speed gearbox with hand change on RHS of tank. Aluminium oil bath chaincase with no ‘R’ on dome and separate filler on shock absorber dome.

Carburetter

Amal type 6/102 with Amal straight pull twist grip control.

Exhaust system

Twin 1 1/2” low-level downpipes into Rudge ‘can’ type silencers and 6” fishtails.

Standard Fittings

Pressed steel central stand with lifting handle, stop light, rear carrier (extra at no charge), 1” handlebars with Amal ‘clean’ type levers. Single toolbox fitted to offside of machine. Steering damper & hand operated fork shock absorber. Open ended ‘D’ section forks. WM2 x 19 or WM2 x 21 wheels at extra cost.

Extras

Black & gold petrol tank finish, chrome plated petrol tank with maroon panels with black guards. Black with maroon guards & tank panels. WM1 x 19” and WM1 x 20” wheels available at extra cost. Smith’s trip/non trip speedometer, Smith’s 2" 8 day clock in damper arm, Bonniksen speedometer, legshields, pillion footrests, electric horn, Lucas No 63 bulb horn, competition exhaust pipes and footchange.
